Escape Lounge

Begin your Escape with some quality time at Stansted’s brand new Escape Lounge. The bright new facility provides stunning relaxed environment to both business and leisure passengers.

The new addition to Stansted’s departures area, the Escape Lounge has revolutionised the lounge concept, providing a somewhat luxurious experience to passengers, even if they are flying with a low-cost airline. So whatever your flying arrangements, the Escape lounge is there to enjoy!

4am to 8.30pm daily.

Cost of Airport Lounge

Without a Priority Pass, the cost of booking The Escape Lounge online is £27 for an Adult, £20 for a Child aged 2 to 11, while Infants go free of charge.

However if you wish to pay at the door (without booking in advance) the cost is £30 per person with Infants under the age of 2 allowed in free of charge.

Getting into Escape Lounge

Check-in at the Escape Lounge is up to 3 hours prior to your flight departure, and you are entitled to a 3 hour stay. You can access the lounge from the time you provided when booking. You will have to pre-book this lounge in advance. By signing up to a Priority Pass membership, you can access Stansted Escape Lounge and over 1300 lounges worldwide.

Dress Code

The airport encourages you to be dressed smart casual, avoiding beachwear, shorts, caps, sports attire and so forth.

Families with children

The Escape lounge welcomes families with children over the age of six. The 6-11 year olds pay the child rate, and children aged 12 and over will pay the full adult price.

Large groups

Parties of more than six individuals who would like to use the Escape Lounge will have to enquire with the lounge directly prior to making the booking.


The Escape Lounge is located on the mezzanine floor in the main departure lounge area, with the entrance situated between Coast to Coast and Pret a Manger.

The Escape Lounge is part of the £80m transformation of Stansted’s departures lounge. The No.1 Traveller lounge that operated at Stansted previously was closed permanently on the 25th of December 2014.

Meeting and Conference Facilities

Meeting rooms and conference facilities are available at Hilton London Stansted Hotel, which is located within the airport perimeter and provides 16 meeting and conference rooms suitable to accommodate from 2 to up to 250 people. Enquire directly with Hilton London Stansted Hotel.
